James and Jenkins triumph in Onsho newsletter giveaway
The first issue of the Onsho newsletter was distributed within the Western Mail, Business in Wales magazine and communicated the many IT services a
nd benefits available to companies situated across Wales and the West Country.
The prize draw provided one lucky reader with an overnight stay at the prestigious Vale of Glamorgan Resort and Golf Club and was won by Mark James, Director of James and Jenkins Ltd based in Llandaff, Cardiff. Mark is pictured on the right receiving his prize.

The last twelve months has seen Cardiff based specialist software solutions and technology provider, Onsho Limited, deliver excellent growth in business volumes resulting in a corresponding increase in the specialist technology consultants employed within the business.
Established in 2004, Onsho build and implement highly secure and pioneering products on platforms according to clients’ specifications. The company has built a reputation for delivering leading edge business solutions, including bespoke software and business consultancy.
Onsho consultants have particular experience in the financial services industry including technology expertise in the areas of Collateral Management, Broker Clearance, Global Custody, Consumer Credit and Retail Banking. In addition, the rapidly expanding team has developed complex technology solutions across a diverse range of industries using the very latest IT and Project Management Techniques.
The experience of the team’s specialist consultants has seen it undertaking work for clients, which includes a leading global financial services firm where it provides bespoke software solutions and business analyst support for a variety of international applications.
Ashley Bell, Managing Director of Onsho commented on the company’s success. “Over the last 12 months we have achieved excellent results with turnover increasing by over 100% to almost £1million. This has seen the company expand its work force further with the recent appointment of two new technology consultants and an operations manager to assist in the day to day pressures of running the business.”
As part of a major strategic review undertaken by the company in 2007, Onsho has undertaken a branding exercise with Cardiff based agency Stepping Stones Marketing Solutions. This initiative has seen the company strengthen its communication message as one of the leading bespoke software solutions companies to both the UK financial services sector and SME companies across the principality and West Country. The review was supported by funding received from the Welsh Assembly Government through the Department of Enterprise and Industry.
Ashley Bell commenting on the initiative stated “The strategic review has highlighted opportunities that exist for Onsho both regionally, nationally and internationally, especially as we are now finding that many organisations are bringing much of their IT and technology support back to the UK, because of problems experienced offshore. We are already benefiting from plans put into place as a result of the review and this includes the dynamic re-branding of the company which strongly communicates our core services and principles”.
One of the major target markets for the future for Onsho is the further supply of bespoke software solutions to SME companies in the principality, particularly the provision of front and back office solutions across all business sectors. Ashley Bell confirmed that the prospects for the future growth of Onsho were especially exciting. “Our extensive experience of working with major international clients provides prospective clients in Wales with an excellent opportunity to receive exceptional technology support at the most competitive rates”.

Onsho Launches new branding - “See the Vision... Create the future”
The team at Onsho have revealed their new corporate branding which has been created after several months research and development.
The brand design and development was undertaken in conjunction with Stepping Stones Marketing Solutions, one of
Wales’ leading integrated marketing agencies. Ashley Bell, Managing Director, commented “The bold new logo
including its dramatic “swoosh” portrays the dynamic development of Onsho over the past couple of years and
provides the company with an excellent platform to communicate the key messages concerning our approach to business
support through technology.”

The new branding provides a very strong visual portrayal of the exciting support Onsho is able to provide to business through the rapidly developing technology now available in the market.”
The branding initiative is part of a much larger project which is being undertaken by Onsho which focuses on marketing the services of the company to a much wider audience. Onsho is again being advised on this marketing strategy project by Stepping Stones Marketing Solutions
